Can i dye my black hair extensions red?

they're 100% real hair. Can i dye my black hair extensions red?
As they're real hair, you can dye them.

However, to dye them red from black you'd need to bleach them first, which would cause alot of damage to them. So make sure you use good conditioners and such to keep them from being ruined.

They will dye but because they're black you'll need to bleach them first or the colour just won't take at all. Also, the result colour probably won't be a good match to your hair as even though the extensions are 100% human hair, they're chemically treated. I dye my hair bright red and I bought some extensions, dyed them, and they turned out an odd purple colour instead of red because of the chemicals.

Your best bet is to go the hairdressers and see what they would recommend.
If you want to go red, CHI hair color is the best. You need to go to a professional hair salon so that they can tell you what they can do. Its best if you get a professional to do it because chances are you might screw it up. Or you can buy red hair extensions which are available at Sally's Beauty Shop.
You can try but most likely if you use a box colour from the chemist, boots etc. it probably won't lift enough to go the same shade on the box.

If you know how to, the best way is to use a 30 or 40% peroxide and a tube colour, Wella tube colours from a hair and beauty wholesale have the best high shine, high colour reds.

Hope this helps,

You have to bleach them and then dye them a red. :] If you are talking about an awesomely awesome bright red color.
